Terry L. Stevens 1959-2024

Terry was born Feb. 13, 1959, to Alfred and Doris Stevens in Girard. He was raised in Girard, where he grew up alongside his three brothers and sister, graduating from Girard High School before attending Youngstown State University. He spent several years managing Bearing Distributors Inc., relocating him to Virginia, where he raised his family.

When his girls were in school, Terry and his now ex-spouse Lee Ann Stevens lived at Lake Holiday Country Club in Winchester, Virginia. He spent many summers taking his family out on their boat to tube, swim and fish. As his kids grew older, he relocated to Florida for endless sunshine.

Terry was a devoted Cleveland Browns fan and had a passion for fishing, boating, golfing, camping, and grilling with family and friends. He enjoyed many road trips to Ohio to visit those he loved. His favorite vacations involved lots of sun and the beach, fishing off the shore and riding the ocean waves with his daughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Stevens and Doris Stevens. Terry is survived by his daughters, Katherine Elizabeth (Wallace) Rutecki and Melissa Dale Stevens; his grandchildren, Wallace William and Hannah Grace Rutecki; his brothers, Craig (Midge) Stevens, Randy (Mary) Stevens and Dale (Peggy) Stevens; his sister, Shelly (Tara) Stevens; and several nieces and nephews whom he loved.

Terry will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

His family will be hosting a celebration of life in his honor in the summer of 2024.
