Judy Tarver 1940-2024

The daughter of James Galloway and Catherine Woodbridge, Judy was born April 25, 1940, in Youngstown.

A graduate of East High School, she was employed by St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital as a phlebotomist for over 30 years, retiring in 2003.

Judy was a member of St. Andrewes A.M.E. Church, where she was a member of the missionary society, lay organization and the church financial committee. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and shopping, and was an event planner. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Judy leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Larry Clark of Youngstown; daughter, Audrey Showers of Niles; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ralph Galloway; and a special uncle, Willie “Big Shot” Woodbridge.

Services were entrusted to Murray Funeral Services, Youngstown.
