George E. Williams 1936-2024

STRUTHERS — George E. Williams, 87, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Maplecrest Nursing Home.

George was born Nov. 12, 1936, in Youngstown, a son of Evan A. and Isabel McMillin Williams.

He was a 1955 graduate of South High School. He was a very proud member of the U.S. Air Force, in which he served and trained as a mechanic from June 1955 until June 1958. He later went on to own a lawn care business.

George will be deeply missed and always remembered by his niece, Sue (Nick) Rappach of Lowellville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, JoAnn Greggo; and his brother-in-law, Henry “Marty” Greggo.
