Sharon F. Aaron 1948-2024

YOUNGSTOWN — Sharon Faye Rauschenberg Aaron, 76, passed away peacefully, Wednesday morning, April 10, 2024.

She was born April 7, 1948, in Youngstown, the daughter of Norris and Jean Ellis Rauschenberg, and was a lifelong area resident.

Sharon graduated from South High School and began her career at Packard Electric as a press operator for over 30 years, retiring in 1997.

Sharon was a former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles and enjoyed crocheting, golfing, bowling and fishing. She especially loved her beloved dogs, Ginger and Peanut, along with going to casinos and playing games of chance.

Sharon leaves behind her two sisters, Janice Schlosser of Austintown and Laraine (Stephen) Russo of Lake Milton; a nephew, Brian (Amy) Schlosser of Struthers; and three great-nephews, Gage, Greyson and Gehrig Schlosser; along with cousins and friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends may pay their respects to Sharon from 10 to 10:50 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., with Pastor Russ Adams as celebrant.

Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Boardman.
