Rose Mary Horvath 1933-2024

Rose was born in Youngstown to Nick Gurlea and Mary Zarcua. She graduated from Hubbard High School.

She married Michael Horvath Jr. on May 3, 1952, in Augusta, Georgia.

Rose was a stay-at-home mother while her children were in school and worked for the Plano Independent School District while living in Plano, Texas.

She served the Lord and most recently was a member of Cornerstone Church of Augusta in Fishersville, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Horvath Jr.; and daughter, Christine Rush.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Horvath of Waynesboro, Virginia, and Daniel Horvath of Nolensville, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Shelia; grandchildren, Kimberly Verhoev, Jordan Horvath and Joel Horvath; and great-grandchildren, Hayley Verhoev, Luke Verhoev and Gabriel Horvath.
