Peg Rodway 1938-2024
MINERAL RIDGE — Peg “Tata” Rodway, 86, formerly of Liberty, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Hospice House in North Lima.
Born in Youngstown, March 20, 1938, Peg was the beloved daughter of Robert and Kathryn Behnke Case. Alongside her late husband, Don, she co-owned and operated Rodway Flowers & Gifts in Liberty for 25 years, bringing beauty and joy to the community through her floral artistry.
Peg was a dedicated member of Pleasant Valley Church throughout her life and proudly participated in the Saxon Club for over four decades. Her talents extended beyond floristry into the performing arts, where she charmed many as a co-director of the Orbit Heaven Puppet Team, captivating children and adults alike with her performances. Tata enriched the lives of many, dedicating her life to serving the Lord and sharing His word with others.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her daughter, Lori (Mark) Furlong of Liberty; her grandchildren, Amber (Michael) Heldreth and Katelyn (Jerrid) Lujan; and great-grandchildren, Emily and Owen.
Peg was preceded in death by her parents; her devoted husband, Don; and her son, Robert Rodway.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Pleasant Valley Church, Niles, where a funeral service celebrating Peg’s life will follow at noon.
