David E. Moss 1960-2024

David was born Nov. 1, 1960, in Youngstown, the son of Carl and Jane Ferree Moss.

He was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. David owned and operated Moss Plumbing Supplies for many years.

In his spare time, David enjoyed watching and attending both Austintown Fitch and Youngstown State University football games, where his son played. David always kept busy, whether it was playing golf, where he was proud of his hole-in-one, or bowling a perfect 300 game. He also enjoyed and looked forward to weekly get-togethers with his buddies.

He also had a love and passion for classic cars, NASCAR, riding his Harley-Davidson, and watching the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State. He always had a soft spot for animals and especially loved his dogs, Mimi and Nikki.

David is survived by his children, Jena (Mike) Lake of Austintown and David J. Moss (Kristen Graul) of Austintown; sister, Carol Wolfgang of Canfield; brother, Frank (Diane) Moss of Austintown; and two granddaughters, Kyndra and Kinsley Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Daniel C. Moss; and brother-in-law, Tim Wolfgang.

Per David’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.

Professional arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
