Christopher M. Ruark 1973-2024
YOUNGSTOWN — Christopher Matthew Ruark passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024. He was born Aug. 9, 1973, the son of James and Sandra DeSalvo Ruark.
Christopher graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1991, and soon after enlisted in the United States Navy.
He took great pride in rescuing many dogs over his years, even giving many of them a forever home.
He is survived by his father, James Ruark; sister, Denise (James) McKeown; brother, Scott (Kim) Ruark; Uncle Dan DeSalvo; his beloved dog, Jacks; and several dear nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Jean Ruark; and grandparents, Harry and Alice Leaf, and Henry and Jean DeSalvo.
A private memorial service will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
