Christina M. Brogley 1960-2024
CANFIELD — Christina Marie “Chrissy” Lombardo Brogley passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
Christina was born in New Castle, Pa., Jan. 6, 1960, to Benedict and Geraldine Lombardo. Christina was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. She worked for Austintown Schools in cafeteria management and retired in 2014. After retirement, Christina became an entrepreneur and ran her own primitive decor shop, The Mustard Star. She loved crafting and creating handmade primitive decor.
Christina married her husband of 42 years, Kenneth Brogley, on May 16, 1981. Together they have two sons, Matthew and Daine.
Christina’s children and granddaughters were her world. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and g-ma. Christina was patient, loving and always understanding. She will be so sadly missed by all.
Christina leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Geraldine (Zidow) Lombardo; husband, Kenneth Brogley; son, Matthew Brogley (Larissa); granddaughter, Riley; son, Daine Brogley (Jennifer); granddaughters, Emma and Ella; sisters, Lisa Lombardo, Ann Therese Lombardo, Rebecca Christopher (John) and Janine Lombardo; sister-in-law, Karen Krause; and brother-in-law, Kevin Brogley (Louanne). Christina also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, Lance and Blaise Tullis; Johnnie, Austin, Benedict and Spencer Christopher; Hayley Lombardo; Ally and Becca Crain; Noah Cornelius; Kristin Freeman (Anthony); Kyle Krause; Kaitlin Debiec (Bob); and Karly Catauro (Jarrod).
Christina was preceded in death by her father, Benedict Lombardo; and her sister, Ann Marie Lombardo.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at St. Joseph Church, 4545 New Road, Austintown.
Friends and family may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the church.
