Stephanie D. Roman-Facemire 1972-2024

She was born Jan. 13, 1972, in Ravenna, the daughter of Steve Dale Elkins and Helen Deloras Pauley Elkins.

Stephanie married Nicholas Lee Facemire on Sept. 4, 2023; they had known each other since high school. They lived in Newton Falls for the past 20 years and were formerly of Lake Milton, where she graduated from Southeast High School in the Class of 1990.

Stephanie worked at Magna Seating in Lordstown in the quality control department for seven years, until 2016. She enjoyed listening to music, going to Geneva-on-the-Lake, hanging out with her friends and family, loved fixing things, bears, and being on her computer, surfing the internet.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, Steve; and one sister, Jessica Baxter.

She is survived by her husband, Nicholas L. Facemire of Newton Falls; her mother, Helen D. Elkins of Diamond; her daughter, Audrey Roman of Girard; her son, Dakota Roman of Newton Falls; and her stepsons, Christian Facemire of Newton Falls and Seth Facemire of Lake Milton.

Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024, at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls, with the Rev. Gary Beck officiating. The family will receive friends for calling hours from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Stephanie will then be laid to rest beside her sister Jessica, in Palmyra West Cemetery, Diamond.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all donations please be made, in Stephanie’s name, for the family in care of the funeral home, in order to offset her funeral expenses.
