Mary Ann Ebert 1946-2024

She was born April 5, 1946, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John and Mary Frances Donaldson Qualey. Mary Ann was a 1964 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Church.

She was a ballroom dance instructor at Meet Me On The Dance Floor, where she made several friendships through the years. Her family was her life, and she was proud of her Irish heritage and fulfilled a lifelong dream going to Ireland. She loved to travel with her husband Ron and going to casinos along the way.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Ronald E. Ebert, whom she married Oct. 28, 1989; daughter, Debbie A. (Keith) Trittschuh; son, Jason M. (Traci) Murzda; sisters, Patricia Cramer, Kathy (George) Russ and Rita Hayes; grandchildren, Madison Goodin and Tori Murzda; and great-grandson, Gionni Jackson.

Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, where funeral services will follow at 7 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Thomas Kraszewski. Mary Ann’s family respectfully suggests material tributes be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
