LIBERTY -- Ann Varanelli, 95, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
Ann was born April 7, 1928, in Youngstown, to her parents, Nick and Mary Marinelli Varanelli.
She was a 1946 graduate of The Rayen School and worked at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital as a nurse's aide.
Having sewed as a hobby, she also worked at Moyer Manufacturing Co. Her other hobbies included baking, reading and making clothes.
She was a member of First Christian Assembly and its women's group.
Ann is survived by a sister, Lydia (Gary) Johnston of Pickerington, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Ann was preceded in death by two sisters, Dinah Varanelli and Naomi (Stig) Sundburg, and two brothers, John (Kim) and Ben Varanelli.
