AUSTINTOWN — Anna Mae Bielik, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at her home, Sunday, Dec. 10, 2023.

She was born Aug. 10, 1933, in Groton, Connecticut, to the late Henry and Ruth Perlatti Post.

From an early age, Anna Mae’s nurturing nature and caring spirit shone bright. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to raising her six children, creating a loving and supportive home for them to thrive in. Beyond raising her children, Anna Mae found joy in various hobbies and interests that brightened her days. She enjoyed spending time at bingo with friends. The tantalizing aroma of fresh-baked goods filled her kitchen as she whipped up delicious treats for her loved ones to savor. Additionally, Anna Mae was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, passionately cheering on her favorite team through every victory and defeat.

Anna Mae’s proudest accomplishments extended beyond her role as a mother and grandmother. She served as a board member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary and dedicated countless hours volunteering at VA hospitals in the area. Her commitment to supporting veterans touched hearts far and wide, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
