Paul C. Austin Sr. 1942-2023
CAMPBELL — Mr. Paul C. Austin Sr. departed this life Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, peacefully at home, from an extended illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Austin was born Oct. 4, 1942, to Clarence W. and Emma E. Austin. He attended Wheatland schools.
He worked at Sharon Steel and with the Austin family businesses.
Mr. Austin was the former owner of the Jolly Bar in Campbell.
He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, enjoyed watching NASCAR and loved attending sports events with his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory, six daughters, Marcia (Gene) Shannonhouse of Sharon, Pa., Michelle Pinkins of Farrell, Pa., Lashonna Austin of Pittsburgh, Pa., Destiny (Javontae) Cowons of Detroit, Michigan, and LaContia and Brittany Austin, both of Ohio; two sons, Jeffrey (Antionette) Austin of Campbell and Michael Austin of Austintown; three siblings, Marilyn Pope of New Jersey, Beverly Williams of Farrell, Pa. and Eugene Austin Sr. of West Middlesex Pa.; a loving grandaughter and caretaker, Crissina (Brian) Hilton of Farrell, Pa.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren — a family of five generations; nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Rueben Sr., Lawrence, Clarence Jr. and James; sisters, Hortense Woods, Willie Belle Cromartie, Jenetta Austin and Nancy Austin; two sons, Charles Williams and Paul Jr.; and great-grandchildren.
