Julia M. Smiley Schwartz 1963-2023
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. — Julia M. Smiley Schwartz of Bedford Road, West Middlesex, Pa., passed away at Sharon Regional Medical Center on Friday evening, Aug. 18, 2023.
She was born in New Castle, Pa., to William and Julia Schofield Smiley. She married William Charles Schwartz on Sept. 26, 1998.
She formerly worked at Victor Printing of Sharon. She and her husband were Presbyterian.
Julia enjoyed crafting, camping, watching NASCAR, and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with family, especially with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by her mother, Julia DeHaven; daughter, Shannon Fair of Sharpsville, Pa.; son, Wayne Jones Jr. of West Middlesex, Pa.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Yvonne Campbell and Lori McCue; and three brothers, William, Joseph and Michael Smiley.
Julia was preceded in death by her father and stepfather.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023, at the Smith Funeral Home, 3126 Main St., West Middlesex, Pa., with the Rev. August Hurst of Lebanon Presbyterian Church officiating.
Interment will follow in Morefield Cemetery in Hermitage, Pa.
