Gail Wagman 1932-2023

Gail was born, Jan. 18, 1932, in Youngstown. She was the loving daughter of Dora and Samuel Bunshaft, and wife to Dr. Harry Wagman, whom she married in January 1956.

Gail attended Rayen High School and graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.

Gail led by example, fiercely loving and caring for her tight-knit family. She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her two children, Barbara Goldberg and Stephen Wagman (Heather Enderby); her five grandchildren, Lauren Goldberg (Cesar Menchaca), Leslie Goldberg, Ben Goldberg, Sara Wagman and Rachel Wagman; and her four great-grandchildren, Javi, Estelle, Rafael and Leonardo.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, in the Itts Memorial Chapel, Anshe Emeth Cemetery, 588 Granada Ave., Youngstown, OH 44505, with calling hours a half hour prior to the service.

Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Temple El Emeth.
