LOWELLVILLE -- Delores M. Renko, 90, passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, July 11, 2023, surrounded by family.
Delores was born Sept. 19, 1932, to her loving parents, Augustine and Antoinette Orlando. She attended East High School and worked at her sister's grocery store, displaying a strong work ethic, even at this young age.
Delores was the cherished partner of Victor Renko, and together they built a life filled with family and friends. Delores and Victor were blessed with five children, Jacquelyn Renko, Jack (Kathryn) Renko, Victor (Lisa) Renko, LouAnn Renko and Thomas (Terri) Renko. Family was of utmost importance to Delores, and the moments spent together with her children brought her profound joy.
Delores also leaves behind five grandchildren, as well as great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Delores will be deeply missed by her extended family, Sherri and Gary Clayman, along with their daughters, Rebecca and Sarah. Her warm and loving presence touched the hearts of all those who knew her.
Delores was a homemaker, and her dedication to her family extended beyond her role as a mother, always ensuring that her home was a warm and loving environment.
Delores had a deep devotion to the Catholic faith, and her commitment to her beliefs was an integral part of her life. She was a member of Immaculate Conception, where she made all her sacraments and was married, and later St. Angela Merici, when the churches merged. She was a source of inspiration to those around her, exemplifying love, kindness and compassion. Her Sunday dinners of spaghetti and meatballs became a cherished tradition, bringing her family and friends together in a celebration of togetherness and good food.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Akeso Home Health and the dedicated professionals who cared for Delores during her time of need. Rachael, her nurse; and Laurie, her aide, provided exceptional care and support, ensuring her comfort and well-being. Additionally, Delores's personal caregivers, Natalie, Pam, Kathy and Rose Mary played an indispensable role in providing kind, loving and excellent care. Their selfless dedication will always be remembered and appreciated.

Private services were held for the family.
