Justine C. DeLillo 1932-2023

Justine was born Feb. 20, 1932, in Youngstown. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Carmel DeChalk Poccia.

On Oct. 23, 1965, Justine married her beloved husband, Joseph “Crow” DeLillo. He preceded her in death, July 23, 2003.

In the early years, Justine worked for Bell Telephone as an operator.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church.

Justine enjoyed cooking, doing crossword puzzles and visiting casinos. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Justine’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Justine is survived by her children, Francene Parise (Robert), Janine Soubra (Jamal), Joseph DeLillo and Jason DeLillo; two sisters, Clotilda Comichisto and Pauline Patrick; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Justine was preceded in death by her son, Michael J. DeLillo; two brothers, Allessandro Poccia and Nicholas Poccia; one sister, Mariann Barker; and her daughter-in-law, Lori DeLillo.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2023, at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road, New Castle, Pa. A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. The Rev. Benjamin Barr will officiate.

Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
