Michael Scott Moody 1962-2023

He was born Aug. 1, 1962, in Youngstown, the son of Glenn Franklin Moody and Carol Jean DeLuco Moody.

Scott had lived in Newton Falls for the last 30 years and was formerly of Canfield, where he graduated from Boardman High School in the class of 1980. He married Helen Marie Higinbotham on Oct. 6, 2012, and they enjoyed the past 10 years of marriage together.

Scott worked as a welder for East Manufacturing in Randolph. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and watching Pittsburgh Steelers football.

Scott is survived by his mother, Carol J. Rhodes of Newton Township; his father, Glenn F. Moody of Brookfield; his wife, Helen M. Moody of Newton Township; seven daughters, Michelle and Jamie Noe of Lordstown, Tricia Moody and Alex Sheehan of Cleveland, Ronni and Jacob Parks of North Jackson, Kirsten and Kurt Eppendorfer of Struthers, Lauren and Kory Rodriguez of Newton Township, Theresa and John Fulton of North Jackson, and Audrey Wylie of Youngstown; one sister, Cheri and James Bridges of Newton Twp.; one brother, Mark and Lisa Moody of Newton Township; and 22 grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. There are no services at this time.
