Gary Cochran 1946-2023

Gary was born July 24, 1946, in Clarksburg, W.Va., a son to the late Otis and Vera Cochran. In 1966, Gary started working for General Motors Lordstown and retired in 2000. He was a member of Tallmadge Church of Christ.

Gary enjoyed taking wrecked cars and fixing and selling them. Gary was an easygoing person who was known as a “gentle giant.”

Gary leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Traci (Arthur) Burgess of Austintown; brothers, David Cochran of Florida and Darrel Cochran of North Carolina; and a grandchild, Jordan Kachmer.

Besides his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Cochran, who passed away June 19, 2022.

In accordance with Gary’s wishes, there will be no services.
