Cheryl A. Nitch 1957-2023
PHOENIX — Cheryl Nitch, 65, was called to heaven Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023, after a very sudden illness.
Cheryl was born Sept 15, 1957, in Youngstown, a daughter of William and Ruth Chirdon.
Cheryl retired from First Energy Corp. in 2018. Cheryl enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her pastimes included flower gardening, traveling and casinos.
Cheryl is survived by her son, Larry (Kandy) Neely Jr. of Phoenix, where she made her home; her sister, Karen Chirdon, also of Phoenix; and her brother, Mark (Kathy) Chirdon of Pulaski, Pa.; also, her two grandsons, Michael Dulaney of Girard and Marcus Dulaney of Australia.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Christine Chirdon.
A celebration of life dinner, in remembrance of Cheryl, will be held at 5 p.m. March 16, 2023, at Georgio’s restaurant in Niles.
