Michele D. Colver Hilliard 1965-2022

NORTH BENTON — Michele Denise Colver Hilliard, 57, died peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her husband and mothers, Brandy Watson and Judi Colver, Thursday morning, Dec. 8, 2022, after a courageous and quick battle with cancer.

Michele is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Jimmy (James, Jamie); her mother, Brandy (Mummy) and Richard (Papa) Watson, and Judith (Judi) Colver; sister, Becky (Scotty); beloved nieces, Gracie and Tessa; nephew, Griffin, her loving in-laws, Roger and Janet Hilliard; sister-in-law, Beth Ann; nephew, Jacob; niece, Jessie; and her sons, Jay (Justice) Hilliard and Evan (Hisako) Hilliard; grandsons, Grayson, Asher, Traen and James; along with her beloved “pseudo” children, Jaxson and London Rydarowicz.

She was preceded in death by her father, Uegene “Gene” Colver; and big brother, Gary “GarBear” Colver. In Michele’s 57 years on this earth, her love for music was unmatched, but her most favorite song with her husband is The Darkness, “I Believe in a Thing Called Love,” and we will hold that in our hearts forever as she dances in heaven while Gar Bear plays guitar.

She was an incredibly hard worker and put passion into everything she did, which is apparent in all of her lifelong accomplishments, including cheerleading at a young age, modeling, and her career in law and human resources. Michele was unstoppable at everything she did.

Michele had a zest for life and had the most generous, kind heart. She loved the San Antonio Spurs and the San Francisco Giants. Michele was also a wonderful cook, and loved hosting friends and family between traveling and boating on the lake. She had a gift for bringing people together, literally across the country: from California, to Portland, to Texas to Ohio, and everywhere in between. She loved her family and friends fiercely and her infectious smile will never be forgotten.

Michele’s legacy will live through each and every soul she came across, and shine bright, as she has made such a beautiful imprint on this earth and is loved endlessly by many.

Arrangements are entrusted to Dean’s Funeral Home, Sebring. Friends and family may share their online condolences at www.deansfuneralhome.com.
