Edith M. Stringfellow 1943-2022
YOUNGSTOWN — Edith Marie Stringfellow, 79, passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, at Shepherd of the Valley in Boardman.
Edith was born June 24, 1943, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Ernest and Martha Krueger Stevenson.
She was a 1961 graduate of East High School and attended Kentucky Mountain Bible Institute for three years. She toured the Southwest with a group from the institute, singing gospel songs.
Edith retired in 2006 after 33 years working for Kennametal Inc. She loved caring for her dogs, cooking and music, especially playing piano for her friends and church. She will be missed by all those close to her.
Edith is survived by her sister-in-law, Susie Stevenson of Texas, and numerous cousins.
There will be no services for Edith.
In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown, OH 44512.
Professional arrangements are being handled by Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
