Sharon Miller-Dzurinda 1949-2022
TEMECULA, Calif. — Sharon Ann Simons Miller-Dzurinda, 73, of Temecula, Calif., died unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 10, 2022.
Born in Buckhannon, W.Va., March 3, 1949, Sherry was the daughter of the late William M. Jr. and Varion V. Young Simons.
Sherry grew up in Warren and was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, dancing and was an avid walker.
In addition to her husband, Paul Dzurinda of California and formerly of Lakewood, Ohio, Sherry is survived by her daughters, Angela (Steven) Daugherty of Avon, Ohio and Lisa (Zachary) Wilkinson of Temecula; grandchildren, Ty and Trey Daugherty, Ella and Zane Wilkinson; brother, Stan (Mary Moulin) Simons of Youngstown, Ohio; as well as stepsons and stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, at Transfiguration Church (formerly SS. Cyril & Methodius), 12608 Madison Ave., Lakewood, Ohio. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland.
