James F. Kraynak 1941-2022
STOW — James “Jim” F. Kraynak, 80, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022.
Born in Youngstown, Jim was a Stow resident for more than 40 years, a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, former president and COO of Saint-Gobain Norpro and had served as a Stow Police Reserve officer through the 1970s and 1980s.
Jim considered himself the luckiest man who ever lived, thanks to his wife and family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Linda; children, Julie D’Antonio, Karin (John) Cibella, Missy Callahan (Frank Esper), Mike (Natalie) Callahan and Mel (Jeff) Burniston; 15 grandchildren; and siblings, Joe Kraynak, Val (Jim) Wells, Mary Ann (David) Collins and John Kraynak.
Friends are invited for visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road Stow, OH 44224.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, OH 44224.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Holy Family Catholic Church or to Fearless Fighters Foundation (fearless-fighters.org).
