Susan F. Myers, 1948-2022
WARREN — Susan F. Myers, 73, a lifetime Niles resident, went to her heavenly home Tuesday evening, Sept. 20, 2022. She passed away peacefully at Trumbull Regional Medical Center, following an unexpected illness.
She was born in Warren on Oct. 5, 1948, the daughter of John and Martha Soltesz Edison Sr. She was a 1968 graduate of Niles McKinley High School.
As a homemaker, Susan enjoyed cooking and baking. She also did crafting, painting and coloring, and enjoyed NASCAR and bingo. Most of all, she cherished her five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Susan is survived by her two daughters, Lisa (David) Jaskowiak of Kiln, Miss., and Tanya (Chris) Siroki of Girard; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Cervone of Warren; and brother, James Edison of Warren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Paul E. Myers, who died March 28, 2017; grandson, Ronald Carpenter; two sisters, Theresa Edison and Mary Faith; and a brother, John Edison.
At her request, a private family graveside service will be held at Niles City Cemetery, with burial in the Edison family plot.
