Faith Lawrence DiTallo 1936-2022

BOARDMAN — Faith Lawrence DiTallo, 86, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, at Greenbrier Healthcare Center, Boardman, after a brief illness, with her husband of 66 years, son and daughter at her side.

Faith was born Aug. 10, 1936, in Warren, to George and Mary D. Lawrence, and grew up aSE.

After graduating from Warren G. Harding High School in 1954, Faith worked for Ohio Lamp and married her husband, M. James DiTallo of Niles, in 1956. They settled in Howland to start a family, eventually moving to Boardman in 1971. Faith raised her two children, David and Tricia, in the Boardman Local Schools and St. Charles Borromeo Parish, and kept a well-manicured vegetable garden and several flower beds. She enjoyed reading, listening to the radio, rooting for the Cleveland Indians, shopping trips to Nordstrom and Dillard’s, and weekly visits to longtime beautician and close friend, Mrs. Donna Chafee.

In her final years, Faith was attended to in her home by her children and a compassionate group of caregivers and companions: Ms. Cathy Carson, Mrs. Jean Shackelford, Ms. Jane Macejko, Ms. Terry Troll, Ms. Kim Augustine and Mrs. Nancy Parker.

Faith was preceded in death by her parents and younger brother, Melvin.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Neptune Society, Parma, under the care and direction of Ms. Tina Marini.

Services at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman, OH 44512, will be announced soon, with eventual burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Warren.
