David Evans, 1966-2022
BOARDMAN — David Evans, 56, died unexpectedly at his home June 20, 2022.
David was born on June 20, 1966, in Youngstown, the son of Thomas J. Evans and Fanny K. Martino Evans.
David always will be remembered for his smile, hard work ethic and the way he touched everyone’s lives that he met.
He was a 1984 graduate of Boardman High School. David was a man of many talents, being a baker, a wood craftsman and a handyman to remodel houses. He was employed at Chelsea Court Apartments. He was a very special person to many and made friendships with all who knew him.
He leaves behind his son, Anthony Evans of Boardman; brothers, John (Carol) Evans of Fort Pierce, Fla., Thomas Evans of Boardman, Michael (Jayne) Evans of Boardman; sisters, Kathy Synder and Diane Yeager of St. Augustine, Fla., Nancy Nerti of Boardman and Mary Jo Evans of Youngstown; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Rocky (Betsy) Evans; brother-in-law, Robert Snyder; and a nephew, Chad Evans.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2022 at Kirila Funeral Home in Struthers.
There will be calling hours before the service from 6 to 7 p.m.
