NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -- Susan Flint, 77, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, near Bolt, W.Va., as the result of an automobile accident.
Susan was born Jan. 14, 1945, to Albert and Wilma Slafkay Smelko, in Warren.
Susan is survived by her daughters, Christine (Benjamin) Staley of Minot, N.D. and Heather (Shawn) Turek of Jupiter, Fla.; grandchildren, Paisley and Leopold Staley, and Riley Turek; her sister, Mary Lou; brothers, Rick and Skip; her friend and neighbor for 44 years, Angelina Saltron; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Wilma Smelko; and her ex-husband, Anthony Flint.
A celebration of life service will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at Enzo's Restaurant and Lounge in Warren. The service will be recorded for the public to view and can be accessed at bit.ly/3qXP5Jo.
Burial will follow at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, in Hillside Cemetery in Cortland.
