Daniel K. Morrison 1962-2022
ALTON, Va. — Daniel Keith Morrison, 59 years young, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer Friday, July 8, 2022, at home with his wife, friend and fur babies by his side.
He was born Sept. 11, 1962.
He leaves behind his best friend and beloved wife, Brenda; sister, Vicki (Sam); half-sister, Melina (Mike); stepsiblings, Mike (Regina), Chuck (Karen) and Sandi (David); as well as his many loved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Violet; stepfather, Dave; father James; and his brothers, Ronald, James and Jeffrey, The Morrison Boys.
Dan was born and raised in Ohio, and was residing in Alton, Va. He was a machinist by trade. Everyone who met Dan knew of his fun-loving, caring and hardworking personality. He made connections and friends everywhere he went and could make anyone laugh. He truly had a heart of gold. Dan would do anything for anyone, including giving the shirt off his back.
Services for Daniel will be announced at a later date.
His wife would like to thank the team at Alamance Regional Medical Center, Alamance Regional Cancer and Palliative care center, Halifax Hospice Care team and special friends Steve, Netta, Toni and Dwayne.
