CANFIELD -- Frank J. Lepore, 91, died Monday, June 20, 2022, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family.
Frank was born May 30, 1931, in Youngstown, the son of Dominic and Minnie Donofrio Lepore. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Chaney High School.
Frank was employed by the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles as a field representative for 10 years. Prior to his employment with the state of Ohio, Frank worked for Thoroughfare and Loblaw food warehouses. He was a member of Teamsters Local 377. He retired in 1995.
Frank is survived by his wife of 72 years, Dorothy Jean Enoch; his children, Donald (Sallie) Lepore, Janet (Richard) Russo, Loretta (attorney George) Briach and James Lepore. He also leaves five grandhildren, Daniel Lepore, Dr. Erica (Dr. Eric) Susa, Patrick (Maria) Russo, Dr. Anthony (Katelyn) Russo and Rachel Briach; and four great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jack Susa, Carmelo Russo and Lucia Russo.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Dr. Vincent D. Lepore and Constantino "Gus" Lepore.
A private Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, June 23, 2022, at St. Michael Church in Canfield, celebrated by the Very Rev. John-Michael Lavelle.
Memorial donations may be directed to a cause or charity of the donor's choice.
Professional arrangements were entrusted to Higgins-Reardon Funeral, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
