Marjorie Ruth Schelhorn 1930-2022

She was born Oct. 14, 1930, in the Village of Ridgefield Park, N.J., to Mary Garaft and Henry Beerman.

Marjorie was a self-employed housekeeper for 20 years before her retirement. She enjoyed swimming, bocce, bowling, playing cards, completing puzzles and bird watching.

Marjorie is survived by two daughters, Renea Keitel (Daniel) of Tampa, Fla., and Wendi Ohlinger (Jeffrey) of Hermitage, Pa.; a son, Christopher Schelhorn (Debbie) of Franklin, N.J.; a sister, Loretta Reardon of Sussex, N.J.; and a brother, Walter Snyder of Northvale, N.J.; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry John Schelhorn, whom she married April 23, 1951, and who passed away Sept. 17, 2008; and two brothers, Henry Beerman of and Raymond Beerman, who died at 3 years of age.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in New Jersey. Burial will be in Brigadier William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery.
