Delores Mansell 1928-2022

Delores was born Feb. 4, 1928, in McKeesport, Pa., daughter of the late Irvin J. And Mary B. Hoffman Taylor.

She had been a resident of East Palestine since 1951, having come from Peterburg, Pa. She worked as a secretary for Kenmar, Herriott Trucking and Isul, prior to her retirement in 1987.

Delores was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in East Palestine. She was a charter member of the East Palestine Fireman’s Auxiliary and a member of the East Palestine Gamma Omicron Sorority.

Delores is survived by four sons, Dean (Bobby Jo) Hutchison of East Palestine, David Hutchison of York, S.C., Donald (Terri) Hutchison of Canfield and Dale (Michele) Hutchison of Columbus; stepdaughter, Sherrie (Allen) Boyd of Martinsville, Va.; 10 grandchildren, Matt, Ryan, Cody, Brad, Jon, Nick, Rory, Dan, Kristy and Sheila; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, C. William Hutchison, in 1966; her second husband, Jack Mansell, in 2008; a stepdaughter, Meme Todd; three brothers and two sisters.

A funeral service will be held at noon Monday, Feb. 28, 2022, at First United Presbyterian Church in East Palestine, with Pastor Fritz Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in Glenview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
