Sheila D. Steffler 1954-2021

AUSTINTOWN — Sheila Diane Steffler, 67, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, peacefully in her sleep after a short illness and walked into the arms of Jesus.

Sheila was the first-born child of Mary Lou and Russell Jarrett in Sissonville, W.Va., on July 29, 1954.

She recently retired after a career as an accountant and served many small businesses in the Valley with distinction.

Sheila is survived by her mother, Mary Jarrett of Mineral Ridge; son, Jason Steffler of Austintown; three grandchildren, Elias Steffler, Noah Steffler and Lilyane Steffler, all of Austintown; and sisters, Wanda Branham of Charleston, W.Va. and Carol Murphy (Greg) of Marlborough, Conn. She is also survived by a special aunt, Lula Legg of Charleston, W.Va.; along with many special nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to spending time with her grandchildren, Sheila had a passion for over-the-road travel, building botanical gardens, and was an avid reader. She was known for her carefully chosen gifts and will always be admired for her enduring fortitude.

Family and friends will be invited to a graveside service in Hubbard Union Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
