Fred D. Reali Sr. 1943-2021

Mr. Reali was born on April 22, 1943, in Youngstown, a son of Benjamin Reali and Carmella Stancoto Reali. Fred served his country in the Army for three years. He was stationed in Germany, where he received two commendations.

Fred was employed for 30 years at General Motors, retiring in 1998. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved his hunting trips to Montana. He also loved The Ohio State and Pittsburgh Steelers football teams.

His wife, the former Carole Bequeath Reali, whom he married April 25, 1964, died in January 2015. He was also preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ben Reali Jr.; and sisters, Jean Mathews, Garnet Hamrock and Sandra Kerber.

Fred leaves behind a son, Fred (Deborah) Reali Jr. of Canfield; a daughter, Tina Reali (Doug Doyle) of Ellsworth; Mary Kay Werner of North Port, Fla., with whom he shared his home; five grandchildren, Shiann Reali of Columbus, Joseph Knight of Youngstown, Gianna Reali of Canfield, Savanna Reali of Canfield and Ty Reali of Canfield; and a sister, Betty Jane Slovasky of Hubbard. He also leaves behind Tim (Jen) Knight of Austintown, with whom he shared a close relationship.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
