Kenneth A. Waback 1961-2021

CUYAHOGA FALLS — Kenneth A. Waback, 60, passed away suddenly Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, at Akron General Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 26, 1961, in Youngstown, to Andrew and Phyllis Behan Waback.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Shelly Lynn Waback; stepchildren, Tiffany (Robert) Escamilla and Curtis (Karina) Bodkins; grandchildren, Makenzie, Vanessa and Kadence; sister, Michelle Waback; mother-in-law, Dorothy Chapman; sisters-in-law, Dottie (Michael) West, Russella Anderson and Sheila (Samuel) Jackson; aunts and uncles, Jim (Alice) Behan, Nancy (Jim) Zone and Marilyn Bailey; best friend, Scott (Tracy) Hammer; his four-legged furbabies; and other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father-in-law; Russell Chapman; and uncle, William Bailey.

Kenneth was a 1979 graduate of Canfield High School and attended Youngstown State University. He was employed as a purchasing agent at Miller’s Rental and Sales. His hobbies included his precious furbabies, collecting model trains, fantasy football and fast cars. He was a Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Indians baseball fan. He was an amazing PaPa to his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his brokenhearted family, friends and coworkers.

A Catholic prayer service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, with Deacon Wood of St. Ann Catholic Parish officiating, at Almost Home Event Center, 230 S. 12th St., Sebring. A time of visitation will take place prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, at the event center.
