Terri Lee Emery 1957-2021

LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. — Terri Lee Emery, 63, loving nurse and mother, died peacefully Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, after a long illness.

Terri is survived by her two siblings, Charlotte Mettee and JoAnn Pucci of Youngstown; her children, Bruce Emery of Covington, Ky., John Pucci of Lake Worth Beach, Fla. and Wendi Frederick of Boca Raton, Fla.; and aunt, Rosemarie Pucci of Youngstown.

Terri was born Nov. 20, 1957, in Youngstown, to Willian F. Block and Verna L. Pucci. She graduated from Sharon Regional Health System with a degree in nursing.

Her children remember their mom as a vivacious, loving and caring nurse of 37 years, always seeking ways to teach and help those in need. She was a selfless woman who always gave to others, expecting nothing in return. She supported each of her offspring to pursue their passions, influencing all three to express their talents and be career driven, instilling her strong work ethic. That influence on them will be the foundation of her legacy.

A remembrance of Terri’s life was held Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at her residence.

An additional ceremony and burial, held in her hometown of Youngstown, will be held in the early spring, and will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to The American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org/involved/donate, in her name.

Condolences may be sent to her Facebook page or to bruce.emery@gmail.com.

The family would like to thank Terri’s closest friends for their sacrifices, as well as her fellow coworkers and medical staff at JFK Medical Center, who provided such kind and empathetic care for her in the final months of her life.
