Patricia S. King 1938-2021

Patricia was born in Warren, on Feb. 12, 1938, the daughter of Merle and Ruth Watkins Joseph and had lived in this area most of her life.

Patricia was a Niles McKinley High School graduate and attended Youngstown State University for two years, earning an associate degree in accounting.

She retired from Second National Bank, Warren, following 17 years of service in the accounting department. Following her retirement, she enjoyed traveling especially to California, Mexico, Hawaii and Las Vegas. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and collecting porcelain dolls and a variety of figurines.

Patricia especially cherished family gatherings and loved her grandchildren and being involved in their many activities.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Frank C. King, whom she married June 24, 1974; two daughters, Brenda Newlin-Globeck of Liberty and Bambi and Reid Harrington of Toledo; three loving grandchildren, Aaron Globeck, Alexandria Globeck and Callan Harrington; and her sister, Candace Trudell of Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Price.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Richard Murphy of St. Stephen Church officiating.

Burial will follow the services in Niles City Cemetery.
