James E. Gresko 1972-2021

Jimmy was born the son of Charles “Chuck” and Kathryn “Babe” Regich Gresko on Jan. 24,1972, in Youngstown. He was a self-employed construction worker and a lifetime area resident.

Jimmy was a 1990 graduate of McDonald High School and a graduate of Mount Union College. He played football for McDonald in his high school years and then later for Mount Union. While at Mount Union, he achieved the National Championship.

Jimmy will be remembered for his stories with his close friends and family.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Kathryn “Babe” Gresko of McDonald; sister, Patty A. Courtney, also of McDonald; niece “Joey” Courtney of Indianapolis, Ind.; and nephew, Dakotah Courtney of McDonald.

Preceding him in death were his father, Charles “Chuck” Gresko; and a brother, Charles F. “Chuckie” Gresko.

Per Jimmy’s wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held.

Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Austintown.
