Christine M. Cook, 1955-2021
Pulaski, Pa. — Christine M. Cook, 66, passed away the morning of Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Born March 1, 1955, in Youngstown, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy Bizub Kupiec.
On June 1, 1974, she married her beloved husband, Paul Cook. He preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 2012.
A loving mother and grandmother, Christine’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was known as the “designated babysitter.”
Christine is survived by her children, Amy (Frank) Sotlar, Carrie (Brandon) Kirkpatrick, Melissa (Brian) Blevins and Paul (Kendall) Cook; two brothers, Walter (Kathy) Kupiec and Frank (Patti) Kupiec; and eight grandchildren, Grace, Isabella, Olivia, Brandon, Jenna, Hannah, Gabriella and Aubrielle.
In addition to her parents and husband, Christine was preceded in death by her grandson, Wyatt Blevins.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St., New Castle, Pa.
A service will be held on Monday at the funeral home. Pastor Jay Eastman will officiate.
