Christine Wilkes-Grainger 1965-2021

Chrissy was born Oct. 4, 1965, in Youngstown. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School, Class of 1983.

Chrissy graduated from Wilma Boyd School of Travel and Tourism. She had a 35-year career in the travel industry. She was employed by Aldelman Travel for the past 14 years. She was loved and respected by her coworkers and mangers; Chrissy was the definition of a “team player.”

Chrissy is survived by her son, Tony Grainger of Chicopee, Mass.; parents, Ralph and Barbara Magnetta Wilkes.; sister, Cindy Wilkes Bernat; brother, Rick Wilkes; and sister-in-law, Michelle Its Wilkes; nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn Bernat, Danielle Bernat-Sabo, Peter C. Bernat, Hannah and Julia Wilkes; and her beloved Bassett hound, Margot.

Chrissy will forever be missed and remember by her signature “red hair” and her amazing laugh that filled a room with joy and love.
