Vera D. Davis 1966-2021

Mrs. Davis was born Jan. 16, 1966, in Youngstown, a daughter of James and Brenda Anderson. She received her GED and attended Youngstown State University. A loving homemaker, Vera enjoyed cooking, music, social cards and computer games.

She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories, two children, Jazzmen Ratliff and Keshawn Anderson, both of Youngstown; stepchildren, Vonetta Davis, Herbert Davis III, Chauntia Kennedy; numerous grandchildren; two sisters, Pastor Kim Smith and Michelle Anderson, both of Youngstown; a brother, Derrick Anderson of Struthers; and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert Davis Jr.; a granddaughter, N’Deya Jazzmen Chree Davis; and three brothers, Charles, James and Kevin Anderson.

A walk through will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2021, at the L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow for the family. Due to the pandemic, all guests are asked to please wear masks and observe social distancing.
