Sally Ann Schneider 1942-2021

LARGO, Fla. — Sally Ann Schneider, 78, died Monday evening, July 26, 2021, at University Hospital, Cleveland.

Sally was born on Oct. 18, 1942, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late James (Ruth) Ausnehmer and Bette Magner (Bob) Bonham. She attended South High School and graduated from Lewis Weinberger and Hill Beauty School.

She spent her career as a hair stylist at Ralph’s Hair Salon in Youngstown and later operated her own salon, Suite 5, in Cuyahoga Falls. Upon retirement, she and her late husband, Richard “Dick” Schneider moved to Largo, Fla., where they spent many years enjoying retirement at the beach.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Greg (Jodie) Kerr; stepchildren, Linda Williams (Scott), Patti Leskosky and Dicky (Dawn) Schneider; grandchildren, Keegan (fiance Allison) and Katie Kerr; step-grandchildren, Nicole, Lauren and Adam Williams, Michael and Brittany Leskosky, Halle and Jake Schneider, and Mackenzie Sanders.

She was predeceased by a brother, James Ausnehmer (Meg Goldberg), and is survived by her sister, Joan Fitzgibbon, and brothers, Ron Ausnehmer (Tom Nazurak) and Tom Ausnehmer. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends — too many to count.

To know Sally was to love her. She was often the life of the party and made friends wherever she went.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
