Ira Reynolds 1937-2020

WARREN — Ira Reynolds, 82, passed away due to COVID-19 late Sunday evening, June 7, 2020, after being comforted by her loving family.

Mrs. Reynolds was born June 10, 1937, in Coretta, W.Va., a daughter of Isom Julian Sr. and Elnora Black Julian.

She attended Warren Harding High School and enrolled in trade school. Later on, she was well known for being an amazing cook in the food service industry.

Mrs. Reynolds was a devout Jehovah’s Witness. She was known for her culinary skills. She enjoyed painting, sewing, spending time with her family and planting in her garden.

Mrs. Reynolds will be greatly missed her daughter, Janise Reynolds; her son, Mark Reynolds; her sisters, Alma Currie and Jean Trimble; as well as 15 grandkids, 32 great-grandkids and seven great-great-grandkids; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Earl Reynolds; her parents; her brothers, Isom and Percy; her sisters, Joan Reed and Dorothy Parkey; and her children, Gregory, Jessica, Eddie and Albert Reynolds.

A burial ceremony will be 10 a.m. July 24, 2021, at Oakwood Cemetery followed by a luncheon at 2 p.m. in Perkins Park, Warren.
