CLEVELAND -- It is with a heavy heart that we tell the passing of Mary Louise Cutrone Hodges, 71, following a brief battle with cancer at the Cleveland Clinic. On Tuesday, May 25, 2021, surrounded by her children and loved ones, she peacefully left this life and began her next journey.
Born April 9, 1950, in Youngstown, Mary Louise was a 1968 graduate of Ursuline High School and Kent State University Radiology Technician Program. For the past 25 years, Mary Louise resided in Cape Coral, Fla.
Mary Louise will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her caring and gentle soul.
She is survived by her adoring children, Victor Cutrone Jr. of Poland and Rochelle Cutrone of Cleveland; Victor Cutrone Sr. of Lowellville; and her husband, David Hodges of Cape Coral, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Vano Starcevic; and father, Steve Starcevic.
The family is grateful to Mary's oncology and neurology teams at the Cleveland Clinic for their persistent efforts and Hospice of Western Reserve in Westlake for their compassion and care during her final days.
There will be a funeral Mass 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021, at St. Lucy Catholic Church in Campbell, with Monsignor Polando officiating, for those who wish to pay their respects.
