George B. Ferenchak 1951-2021

George was born May 16, 1951, in Youngstown, the son of the late Cyril Ferenchak and Wlima Novak Ferenchak. He grew up on the South Side of Youngstown and graduated from St. Matthias School, Cardinal Mooney High School (Class of 1969) and Youngstown State University.

He married Nancy Longden on Feb. 14, 1987.

George resided and worked in Stone Mountain, Ga., for many years before retiring to Lake Hartwell.

To cherish memories of George are his wife, Nancy; brothers and sister, Paulette Smith of Canfield, Gregory Ferenchak of Paris, Texas, Margaret Ferenchak of Youngstown, Theresa (David) Kantz of Wexford, Pa., and Michael Ferenchak of Indianapolis, Ind.; sister-in-law, Carolyn Ferenchak; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and many friends.

George was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Kenneth (Carolyn) and Cyril (Marta).
