Anita L. Decker-Feltner 1949-2021

GIRARD — Anita L. Decker-Feltner, 71, passed away late Monday afternoon, April 5, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after a brief illness, with her family by her side.

Anita, who was know to all as “Lucy,” was born Oct. 29, 1949, in Fayetteville, N.C., a daughter of the late Walter and Anna Mary Rubino Decker, and came to this area with her family as a child in 1955.

She graduated from Harding Business School with a degree in accounting and was a homemaker.

Lucy was of the Catholic faith and was a former member of St. Patrick Church in Youngstown. She was a member of the Ladies’ Lunch Club, the Red Robins and she enjoyed quilting, sewing and spending time with her family.

She leaves her husband of 32 years, John T. Feltner, whom she married March 18, 1989; two sons, Gregory J. (Tracey) Nutt of Boardman and Christopher (Michel) Nutt of Mineral Ridge; and three grandchildren, Robert, Mikayla and Christen Nutt.

Family and friends may call 5 to 6 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2021, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where a memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. If attending the visitation or service, please be mindful of current health protocols and social distancing guidelines.
