Robert Walter Paulo 1957-2021

YOUNGSTOWN — NEWS FLASH: The cat with nine lives has quit drinking! Robert Walter Paulo, 63, died peacefully with the assistance of All Caring Hospice on March 14, 2021.

Bob had accidents, calamities, and life changing events, but he always landed on his feet, with a smile. The alcohol demons have taken his life, but they couldn’t get his soul. Jesus said, “anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.” John 11:25.

Bob was born Nov. 4, 1957. He was a master carpenter who worked with his father, Robert, across the country, as well as in Youngstown. He loved Jesus, his family, his fiancee and animals. He liked the outdoors, camping, fishing and barbecuing. He was kind, compassionate and thoughtful. He always had a smile on his face, liked to laugh and was a practical joker. Bob would give you his last dollar if you needed it.

He will forever be missed by his sister, Cheryl Paulo; and his fiancee, Cindy Yount. He will also be missed by aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends and acquaintances.

Bob’s ashes will be set free at sea in Florida, along with his mother, Virginia Wiegand, and Don Becker.

“Rest in peace little brother, I’ll see you on the other side.”
