Darlene L. Moses 1950-2021

Mrs. Moses was born May 26, 1950, in Youngstown, a daughter of Willie Trail and Leona West. Mrs. Moses was a 1968 graduate of East High School and attended Youngstown State University for art.

She had been employed at General Electric, retiring after many years of service. She attended World Fellowship Interdenominational Church.

Darlene was a lover of art, drawing and painting.

Darlene leaves to cherish her beloved memory, her son, Marlon A. Moses of Youngstown; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Shirley West of Youngstown; her brother, Donald West; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, who passed away in the late 1980s; her daughter, Natasha Moses; and siblings, Calvin, Arthur, Leonard and Helen West.

A walk through will be held Monday, March 8, 2021, 1 to 2 p.m., at L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home. Private services will follow for the family. Due to the pandemic, all guests are asked to please wear masks and observe social distancing. For the health and safety of everyone, we ask that guests do not linger at the funeral home after viewing.
