Susan A. Kobylinski 1974-2021

MULLICA HILL, N.J. — Susan A. Marcis Kobylinski, 46, passed away in her sleep on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, at her home in Mullica Hill, where she has lived since 2010.

Raised in Hubbard, Susan received her bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University.

She began a career as a Middle School teacher in the city of Cleveland, where she taught seventh and eighth grade. She then went on to teach at St. Mark’s Lutheran School in Brunswick.

Susan always had a deep love for singing, dance, and especially musical theater. She performed in many theater productions (Beauty and the Beast, Jekyll and Hyde, Fiddler on the Roof and others) in both Ohio (Beck Center) and New Jersey (Broadway Theater) and even performed the National Anthem for Cleveland Indians. She was a gifted singer with a beautiful voice.

Susan had a very warm and loving personality, making an impact on everyone she met. She loved being with friends and family. Animals were very important to her. She loved her pets very much, and being empathetic to animals was a big part of her life.

Survived by her husband Mark Kobylinski, beautiful daughter Bella Kobylinski, mother Susan Antalik Marcis, Siblings Michael (Tammy) Marcis, Mark (Toni) Marcis, mother-in-law and father-in-law Elizabeth and Richard Kobylinski, Aunt Beth and Uncle Joe Ceremuga, cousins Cathy (Brian) Richesson and Joey (Carmen) Ceremuga, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved animals, her cats Ozzy and Lola and dog Cubby.

She was predeceased by her father Michael Marcis.

Friends may greet the family after 9 a.m. on Feb. 27, 2021, in the Kelly Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ.

The memorial service will be at 11 a.m.
